SMBA ECONOMIC OUTLOOK – COVID-19 IN COLLABORATION WITH CCIFM & LA CAMARA
SMBA Economic Outlook 2020 that was originally planned to be taking place in February 2020 had to be postponed due to the prevailing outbreak. Today we saw the event taking place online via Zoom. The SMBA Economic Outlook – Covid-19 was organized in collaboration with CCIFM and La Camara. A special thank you to CCIFM for orchestrating the entire communication platform and to make sure that everything went smooth.
Once again, we had the honor to have our Ambassador H.E. Andrea Reichlin to do the welcome speech and to enlighten us about the situation in Switzerland. Thank you so much.
And to our keyspeaker, Dr. Anthony Dass, Chief Economist/Head, Ambank Research, we appreciate your loyalty to us and that you have agreed yet another year to do a presentation on our current economic situation. We all agreed that it was highly informative and interesting to understand how the virus has aggravated the economic situation and crippled especially the manufacturing sector which leads to many left unemployed – yet we shall have hope to see some recovery by Q3 or Q4.
