Members of the Swiss Malaysian Chamber of Commerce had the privilege of visiting SICPA’s office and lab at Cyberjaya. A big thank you and appreciation to Mr. Tee Hock Eng, General Manager of SICPA, for making this possible for SMCC.
The morning session started with Mr. Simon Fluck thanking the members for their participation. Mr. Tee joined us virtually. SICPA’s management team gave an insightful presentation on SICPA’s business and solutions.
Razman Azrai, SICPA’s Regional Business Director (APAC), began the presentation with a fantastic corporate video and explained SICPA’s business portfolios on marking & traceability solutions, fuel marking solutions, identity protection solutions, and more. SICPA’s Government Solutions Manager, Mr. Chan Hsien Yaw, thoroughly explained how SICPA provide solutions to different businesses, for example, security inks for banknotes, IDs, and passports.
Mr. Rafael Herrera, the Senior Manager of Solutions Delivery of SIPCA, presented on the history of SICPA. Mr. Quentin Louis, Human Resource Manager, explained the diversity and inclusivity of the people and culture in SICPA. Ms. Anna, Senior Manager of SICPA Malaysia’s Centre of Excellence, gave an engaging presentation on the engineering team. SICPA’s Operations Manager, Mr. Kana, concluded the presentation.
After the presentation, there was a detailed walkthrough and demo of the office and laboratory. The team explained the process and significance of each machinery in different industries. SICPA’s technology is truly cutting-edge! There are various methods for end consumers and businesses to authenticate every product.
