The Swiss Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (SMCC) hosted its highly anticipated Annual Dinner at SAMBA Brazilian Steakhouse located in Avenue K.
With more than 70 attendees representing 42 SMCC Members the event promised a memorable evening for all.
The opening speech by SMCC Chairman, Simon Fluck, set the Brazilian tone for the evening. He warmly welcomed Ralph A. Stamm, Deputy Head of Mission Embassy of Switzerland in Kuala Lumpur and new SMCC Members Mr. Paraveen Singham, Managing Director, VAT Manufacturing Malaysia Sdn Bhd, and Mr. Gregorie Lafore Managing Director, LEM Malaysia Sdn Bhd as well as Daniel Schmidli Head of Sales Industries SEA, MAN Energy Solutions ES Sdn Bhd.
The evening’s entertainment kicked off with a captivating Capoeira performance, showcasing the unique Brazilian martial art form.
The members were treated to a sumptuous dinner buffet featuring an array of culinary delights. The SAMBA Brazilian Steakhouse lived up to its reputation, offering a diverse selection of mouthwatering Churrascaria meats that catered to every palate.
The excitement reached its peak during the lucky draw sessions, with prizes generously sponsored by the generous SMCC Members Alpadis Group, Kvalito, Belimo, Roche Services, SGS, Top Beraten, Nestle, LEM, ABB, Mindset and Gastronomie Suisse.
Adding to the rhythmic beats of the night, a lively Batucada and Samba performance took center stage, infusing the atmosphere with infectious energy. The pulsating drumbeats and vibrant rhythms had everyone on their feet!
The SMCC Annual Dinner concluded on a high note, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended. It was a celebration of diversity and the vibrant synergy that defines the Swiss Malaysian business community!
