The Swiss Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (SMCC) in collaboration with four esteemed chambers, including CCIFM – CCI France Malaysia , the Malaysian Spanish Chamber of Commerce & Industry – La Cámara, the Malaysian Dutch Business Council (MDBC) ,and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (CanCham Malaysia) had our annual Economic Outlook 2025 at Hilti Asia IT Services
The event commenced with a warm welcome from Hilti’s Managing Director, Mr Wai-Meng Lee.SMCC Vice Chairman, Pauline Goh, introduced the agenda, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among various business chambers to promote mutual growth in Malaysia.
The Presentation started with Ralph A. Stamm, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Switzerland in Malaysia , who shared an enlightening perspective on Switzerland’s economic outlook and policies. Following this,Dr. Anthony Dass PhD, Executive Director of Malaysian Institute of Economic Research (MIER), provided an in-depth analysis of the 2025 Economic Outlook, shedding light on future trends and opportunities for businesses.
The event concluded with a Q&A session that allowed attendees to engage directly with our speakers, followed by an informal networking session. This gave participants a chance to connect, exchange ideas, and explore potential collaborations.
