As Malaysia tabled out its most important annual budget at the beginning of November 2020, SMCC collaborated with the Danish Malaysian Business Council and fellow European Chambers in Malaysia for a debrief that explained the budget best possible to help clarify the impact and influence it will have on business operations in Malaysia.
The business briefing was presented by Professor Yeah Kim Leng, Professor of Economics at Sunway University and is currently the Deputy President of the Malaysian Economic Association (MEA), former trustee of the Malaysian Tax Research Foundation (MTRF) and former external member of Bank Negara Malaysia’s Monetary Policy Committee.
