Swiss Malaysian Chamber of Commerce held its 23rd AGM 2022 on 27 April 2022 at Tigabatu, Kuala Lumpur.
SMCC would like to thank everyone who attended the AGM. Your presence truly made it a successful Annual General Meeting followed by networking and a delicious dinner.
Special thanks are extended to Her Excellency Andrea Reichlin Ambassador of Switzerland to Malaysia and the Economic Officer & Trade Advisor, Matteo Bernasconi at our event.
The Ambassador gave an economic forecast of Switzerland as well as the Bilateral Trade situation between Switzerland & ASEAN/Malaysia.
She also updated on the major risks for an open economy like Switzerland posed by the war in Ukraine.
Oliver Chiradia of Nestle (Malaysia) Berhad and Azwar Kamarudin of Novartis Corporation (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd have stepped down as committee members. SMCC would like to express our appreciation for their time and contribution to the chamber. We wish them all the best for their future endeavour.
