Our Swiss National Day celebration was held on 1st August at ROM8 Studio Damansara. It was an event filled with joy and laughter, bringing together about 200 people, both Swiss expatriates and locals who have an appreciation for #Switzerland.
The evening started with a welcome drink offered by the Embassy of Switzerland, followed by the highlight of the evening, traditional Swiss cuisine served by Chalet Suisse. As usual the Raclette booth was a great success. Together with other specialities and desserts, we are sure every taste buds were satisfied.
The Swiss National Day celebration was not only a gathering of Swiss nationals, but also a platform to share culture and heritage with all participants. This was reflected in the broadcasted 1st of August address of the President of the Swiss Confederation Alain Berset, highlighting Swiss values, such as the promotion of peace, the defence of democracy and freedom of expression, and the commitment to neutrality.
