Swiss Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (SMCC) had the opportunity to visit VCET ASIA’s office and facility in Malacca last week.
The afternoon started with a thank you speech from SMCC’s chairman, Mr. Simon Fluck, to our generous host. Mr. Regis Degen, CEO of VCET ASIA, and Mr. Cedric Bourquenez, CTO of VCET ASIA presented some interesting facts about VCET ASIA to our members. After the presentation, the members were separated into two teams to tour VCET ASIA’s office and facilities.
VCET ASIA is founded and established in 2004 by Regis and Cedric in Malacca. Through the years, VCET ASIA has developed its activities of outsourcing business of high precision mechanical parts for various industries such as electronics, automotive, watch industry equipment, medical equipment, aerospace and mostly of diverse automation industries.
After the tour, we enjoyed some Nyonya delights before heading to dinner at the Portuguese Settlement. All our members greatly enjoyed the scrumptious feast of different signature dishes at the restaurant. We had a good time getting to know our hosts and other members.
We would like to express our gratitude to our hosts, Regis and Cedric, for the tedious planning and organisation to provide a wonderful time for our members.
